Managers Corner:

Hi all,
Are you ready for winter? The early forecasts
are coming in, La Nina again? We’ll have to
wait and see but one thing is for sure, the
Alpenrose Condo’s are ready and waiting to
see what Mother Nature can dish out.

After last summer’s hectic construction
schedule this summer was much closer to
normal operations. Only one major
construction project was necessary, the
replacement of some rotted siding on the back
of building two. Unlike every project we
tackled last summer, there were no surprises
or unforeseen difficulties, in fact we found
even less rot that anticipated and finished the
project ahead of schedule and under budget.

One nagging problem we gained the upper
hand on this summer was the detection and
repair of a leak in the pool’s plumbing that
was costing us not only precious hot water but
also pool chemicals. Once the snow melted
the problematic leak was located I was able to
unearth the broken pipe and replace it, saving
us a bundle on hiring a pool company to repair
it.

I am always here if anyone needs anything so
